Quick, read this article before you are charged to be on this website!!! A lot of crazy stuff has happened this past week that could very much change everything, so read up!
1) The vote to repeal Net Neutrality, which is a principle that prevents internet providers from discriminating various websites and therefore prevents us, the consumers, from having to pay extra to visit Facebook rather than this lovely website, has passed 3-2. Now this does not mean that this is for sure going to happen yet as there are still steps that need to be taken, but look out for upcoming news on that.
2) On a more fun topic, Disney has officially bought most of 20th century Fox. We can finally see Deadpool and Spider-Man together as well as a potential Avengers V. X-Men movie line (which was one of my favorite comics). Disney paid $52 Billion for the rights to Marvel characters such as the X-Men and Deadpool, as well as franchises like Avatar, Planet of the Apes and Die Hard. The full details of the deal have yet to be released, but we are expected to see everything next week!
3) To all comic book nerds! we are getting some more stuff to get us hype!!!!! The writers of the Guardians of the Galaxy comic are writing a comic that will help us understand some of the stuff will lead up to the next big crossover event, Infinity Countdown, and it could be coming as soon as February 2018.
4) The Netflix Original, The Punisher, has officially been given a second season. This is great to hear as season one was beyond a homerun, and everyone played their role perfectly (including the writers). There has been no official release date for season 2, but we have to imagine it will be given to us in the next few years.
5) Finally, PUBG has finally came to console, and everyone is super hype about it. Xbox owners should read my review before going out and buying it, here: PUBG Review
That isn't all that happened this week, but you can rest easy knowing that these are some of the most important things you must know for this week.
