1) Rian Johnson helms new Star Wars trilogy. Rian Johnson, the director for the upcoming film Star Wars: The Last Jedi, has recently been green-lighted to write and direct the first film in a new trilogy. Star Wars: Episode 10 will clearly not be around anytime soon, but we have been told that these new movies will begin to stray away from the Skywalker saga and introduce new characters from different galaxies. This leads us to believe that maybe some, or all, of these characters might not be making it past episode 9…interesting. The next entry in the Star Wars series, The Last Jedi, comes out December 15.

Live-action shows that are in the works for this service includes: Star Wars, Monsters INC., High School Musical, and a Marvel show. I am curious to see if this Marvel show will at all play into the MCU’s continuity at all similar to the Netflix original shows.

It has been rumored since before it’s release that the switch will have these services, just add Netflix so I can watch The Office for the 60th time. Please and thank you.

4) Sledgehammer Games, the company that recently released Call of Duty: WW2, announced that they were more into the idea of making a Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare 2. Everyone please go and thank Activision for talking them out of that as I, as well as most of you, thoroughly enjoy the new Call of Duty as it is a more realistic game with few distractions. Thanks Activision!
5) The video game voice actors strike is officially over! The longest actors strike in US history is finally over as the tentative agreement, that was agreed upon, is finally confirmed allowing for the voice actors to get paid more money and have more flexible contracts. Because of the strike some games, like Life is Strange: Before the Storm, have seen characters recast due to the original voice actors being part of SAG-AFTRA so get ready to hear some of your favorite voice actors returning to your favorite video games. The new agreement with last until Nov. 7, 2020.
