Mr. Reader...I don't feel so good...….and I am sure that if you have seen the movie, you aren't doing so well either. As we all cope with the numerous losses that followed with the snap of Thano's hand, it left us feeling very ready for May 3rd, 2019, the confirmed release date for the untitled fourth Avengers movie (my guess is that it will be Avengers: One World's End or something to that effect).

The plot of the movie is pretty self-explanatory, the big mean purple gauntlet wielding machine was on a quest to fill the six slots in his infinity gauntlet with each of the infinity stones (Power, Space, Time, Mind, Soul, and Reality). What is his goal with these stones? To eliminate half of the world's population, but for what he believes to be a just cause. Thanos believes that the world is overpopulated and that if not dealt with, the overpopulation will cause the world's finite resources to be consumed at an alarming/world ending rate. As crazy as it seems, I think he has a good point, and I could see why he thinks he is doing a good thing. With his own experience with a dying world on Titan, his birthplace, you can understand that he does not want anyone else to have to watch as a world crumbles before them like he did. Is he a good guy though? Far from it...
This is Thanos' confirmed kill list as of this moment: Heimdall, Loki, Gamora, and Vision. He stabbed Heimdall and choked Loki to death in front of Thor in his quest for the space stone, which was hidden in the tesseract. As for Gamora, the only person he ever has/ever will love, he threw her off of a cliff as an exchange for the soul stone. Vision clearly died as he had that big ole rock (also known as the mind stone) ripped from his head, but as he is a robot... this is the only one that has a chance to come back from this list.
Now there is a reason I had to include "Confirmed" before listing the people he killed, and that is because we saw a large group of our favorite superheroes vanish, and god was it hard to watch... here is a list of every who vanished, but may return soon: Spider-Man, Black Panther, Groot, Bucky Barnes, Star-Lord, Maria Hill, Nick Fury, Mantis, Scarlet Witch, Drax, Falcon, and Doctor Strange. Many people believe that all of these characters have simply been teleported to a world that is within the soul stone, but that is just a rumor as of this moment.
These were all a HUGE surprise as everyone thought that Captain America's days were numbered, but Chris Evans will be back leading the Avengers on the hardest mission that the team has ever been against.
Now that I am done nerding out about the plot of the movie, time for a review. This movie was fun, until it wasn't. The comedy was great, but it was almost like having a comedian headline your mother's funeral while watching this movie. One-by-one we watch the Avengers fail at stopping Thanos, and then pay what may have been a huge price. The fight scenes were amazing, and you could not have really asked for anything better than what we got within that movie. With a ton of things happening at once with a ton of people, it was hard to go five minutes without having an immediate jump to somewhere on the other side of the galaxy, this was something that I did not like because it was not always a smooth transition and kind of felt like they would leave a scene unfinished before going to another situation with a totally different group of people. Overall, this movie was amazing and was worth the ten-year build-up, and I cannot wait for Ant-Man and Wasp to come out to see what else happened within the universe that could not fit in Infinity War.
GRADE: A (or a 9/10 if you prefer a rating out of 10)
This movie was a great continuation of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Great fight scenes, some light humor, and to tie it all together with some good ole dramatic tragedy. A movie you wouldn't mind seeing twice.
End Credits: Just like the movie, I'll give you an end credit... The end credit to Infinity War was a scene of Maria Hill and Nick Fury witnessing people crash into buildings and cars right before vanishing. They both step out of their car and then vanish themselves, but before Nick Fury goes up in ash he calls for reinforcements by paging none other than Captain Marvel.
